Become an FTA Volunteer

Help us socialize our residents - Giving belly rubs, brushing coats, reading to them, helping to give treats and just hanging out and showing them love helps our non-humans love humans even more! 


Deliveries and pickups are also much appreciated.  Please contact us for more information. Read below for more information regarding volunteer guidelines.

Here's a few things to note:

  • All minors (under the age of 16) must be accompanied by an adult at all times

  • Minimum age of 10 to volunteer

  • All volunteers must complete and sign the waiver before entering the sanctuary. (Click the button below to download the waiver)

Community Service

We do offer community service hours for those needing to fulfill A+ Program hours, court-ordered, and other service hours.

 

Please read requirements below for court-ordered service hours:

  • Documentation of related-charges is required.

  • Violent offenses (including animal abuse), sex and child abuse offenses, theft, and certain drug offenses will not be permitted into the program.

  • Documentation of mandated court-ordered community service is also required.

  • Court-ordered community service volunteers must adhere to the policies and procedures of the Community Service Program and Farm To Able Sanctuary at all times.
